Moresby Park Preschool offers a high quality educational program for children from 3 years of age until they go to school.
Moresby Park Preschool was established in 1958 and has offered PreSchool education to families in the community for over 50 years. This means a fantastic environment has been developed. The outdoor area features a “forest” of established trees; fixed and moveable climbing equipment, a large covered sandpit, a separate digging patch; and grass to run and kick balls on. There is a large veranda area for extra shelter and play spaces. The indoor area is large which means many varied activities can be offered.
The staff The staff at Moresby Park are committed and dedicated. They include trained and experienced teachers and assistants. Most of the staff have been at the centre for many years.
The children The children can attend in the 4-5 year old group or the 3-4 year old group. Please contact us at the preschool for current session times and days of attendance. All children are welcome. Children with additional needs are encouraged to attend. At the completion of their time at Moresby Park PreSchool, children move on to a variety of local public and private primary schools.
The families The families at Moresby Park Preschool can be involved in the centre in a variety of ways if they choose. Parents can stay and assist the children in the playroom; join the management committee or help with fundraising.
