Ross Circuit Preschool offers
- Half day 3-4 year old preschool sessions
- Full day 4-5 year old preschool sessions
- Before and after preschool care
- “Playtime” - a playgroup (for parents and their children, 0-5yrs) which utilises the preschools facilities
Our Preschool operates within the same building as the Ross Circuit Child and Maternal Health Service.
At Ross Circuit Preschool, we respect each child as being a unique person with his or her own abilities, needs, experiences, and interests. Our role as educators is to build upon these attributes via a stimulating and appropriate program. Our programs are rich in language, physical development, discovery and exploration, music and movement, drama and social development. We aim to provide children with the skills necessary to make a smooth transition into their formal schooling.
We work closely with families in the sharing of information in regards to their child’s development. Parents are encouraged to participate in their child’s time at preschool through a ‘duty roster’. Parents are also able to participate in preschool life more formally through involvement on the Board of Management, or Parents Group, which is our fundraising committee.
At Ross Circuit Preschool, our playrooms are well resourced, our grounds are spacious, well shaded and equipped with swings, a huge sand pit and climbing equipment.
