Thurgoona Preschool is set among the gum trees in Corry’s Wood, Thurgoona.
The Preschool is in close proximity to local primary schools, university and local shops.
Thurgoona Preschool is a community based centre. We have a maximum of 20 children
attend the preschool each day, with a minimum of 2 primary contact staff.
The Preschool has qualified, experienced and dedicated staff.
We provide a high quality preschool program for children 3years to school age.
The program is developed by qualified, experienced staff based on the developmental needs, interests and strengths of children as individuals and as a group.
We assist children to develop foundations for future learning and become effective learners.
We provide a transition to school program to enhance a positive transition for children
moving on to school.
At Thurgoona Preschool we provide a caring, supportive and friendly learning environment for
children and their families.
Exciting changes are happening to our preschools outdoor playground. We are undergoing a series of developments designed by highly regarded playground consultant, Mary Jeavons. This will enhance the already beautiful natural outdoor play area we provide for the children.
Specialised programs are developed to support children with additional needs.
Fee relief is available for low income families.
Thurgoona Preschool is open Monday to Friday (Full and half day sessions)
